Shaun Newman is a software developer, web designer and amateur photographer living on the edge of the Peak District in North Staffordshire.

"I love to photograph natural and urban landscapes and am always striving to produce images that stir an emotion in the viewer. If there is such a thing as a perfect picture then I think it's one that transports the viewer to another place while they are viewing and imparts a lasting memory for when they aren't."

Shaun uses a Canon EOS 40D, shooting RAW and using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CS3 to 'develop' each image.
